East Africa is unforgettable! I’ve ventured to the most popular gaming areas: Sweetwaters, the Jane Goodall Chimpanzee Sanctuary, Aberdare, The Ark, the Masai Mara and the Mt. Kenya Safari Club. It’s on the Mara that one can see a pride of lion, a herd of elephants, colorful and warm Masai people and the sunset over the western escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. Amazing! I walked in a field with elephants, observed lions with their cubs just a few feet away from the only vehicle in the area, photographed zebra who charmingly posed, and saw two leopards stalking their prey during night drives. I was served a gourmet dinner with linens and candlelight, listening to a chorus of hippo in the river next to us.
