A destination that holds a great deal of passion for me is Ireland. My dad's family is from Ireland so we have enjoyed many family weddings, celebrations and memorable gatherings in this gorgeous country. Ireland has changed so much over the years. Today there is this great sense of urgency and the atmosphere is so charged and exciting! Young people everywhere, music, great halls of education -- from Trinity College to the local pub. Golf, spas, cuisine, theatre and endless conversation - what a grand place to take my Literary Groups to every year!

My Grandparents, having been born in Ireland, shared with me stories about the beautiful, magical island and the warmth of its people. This drew me to become an Ireland Specialist with the Irish Tourist Board and a Charter member of the Shamrock Club. I have traveled to Ireland yearly for the past six years and it has become my favorite destination. I have traveled from Dublin to Galway, Belfast to Kenmare and Sligo to Waterford enjoying the cities, the countryside and the people.
