There are two classes of service offered on the Rocky Mountaineer train: GoldLeaf Service which allows guests to travel in glass-domed coaches for panoramic views on the upper level with a private dining room on the main level; and RedLeaf Service, which provides assigned reclining seats next to large picture windows, with dining done at your seat.

  • The First Passage to the West is the popular route through the legendary Spiral Tunnels from Vancouver to Banff or Calgary via Kamloops.

  • The Rainforest to Gold Rush is a journey between Whistler and Jasper, featuring some of the most dramatic scenery in the world of rail travel combined with the colorful heritage of the gold rush. The halfway point is an overnight stop in the charming town of Quesnel.

  • The Whistler Sea to Sky Climb is a 3-hour journey between Vancover and the resort of Whistler, covering some of British Columbia's most dramatic coastal landscapes. The rail journey operates from May till September. Rates from $129 per adult, one way (with discounts for children available).
