What you need to know: Customizing a vacation can require a considerable amount of time, checking availability, and lining up all the components just right and making sure everything fits together properly. A lot of work and expertise goes into setting a trip up, and sometimes customers change their mind or don't find what they've requested as something they want to do. As a result, as do most professional travel agents, we charge a non-refundable planning fee of $100 per person, the cost of which is usually applied to the cost of the trip. This planning fee helps offset the professional time we put into researching the trip request, should it not be accepted.
