The British Isles are one of my favorite destinations. England brings you London, one of the world’s greatest cities. Amazing sightseeing such as Buckingham Palace, The Tower of London, The British Museum and some of the great shopping you will ever find shopping. Then there Stratford-Upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare, and a perfect English countryside town. Bath shows you the Roman heritage of England. Also during the summer, England plays host to large music festivals such as T in the Park. Scotland is a country steeped in mystery. The highlands are one of the most stunning locations on earth. In summer, Edinburgh plays host to a fantastic performing arts festival. Wales is a country that is sometimes left off the typical itinerary, but shouldn’t be. Castles, beautiful coastlines and sites that lead back to the stories of King Arthur. Last but not least is Ireland, the emerald isle. I’ve been so blessed! I’ve traveled extensively through the UK, from the North in Scotland through England to Wales in the West. And I’m not done yet. With half of my heritage coming from this great country, I have a deep affinity with the UK.
